Therapeutic Approach

I practice from a trauma informed perspective where I seek to create a space of safety and healing for every client that I see. My treatment modality tends to be integrative, allowing me to pull from various approaches in order to best meet your clinical needs. EMDR

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapeutic approach that is proven to be effective in more rapidly bringing healing to trauma, compared to traditional talk therapy. CBT

My therapeutic foundation is CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). CBT is a beneficial approach in that it targets identifying unhealthy thoughts that negatively impact your mental health and decision making. With CBT, we can work toward healthier thinking patterns in order to decrease unwanted mental health symptoms, often connected to depression and anxiety.

EFT

I primarily utilize EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy) in my work with couples. In our sessions, you and your partner will enter into a safe environment, where unhealthy relationship patterns can be identified and mutual understanding can increase, making way for new, healthier ways of relating to one another to emerge.
